Temporary Collective
What can dance be? And when losing means waiting to be found.
Premiere 11. 7. 2026
South Specific 2026 – festival premiere
The Lost Movements project brings together professional dancers, young choreographers, amateurs, and lovers of dance and creativity to explore the many possibilities of dance. It draws on everyday gestures and movements that we often overlook and asks: how many of these "lost movements" can be transformed into choreography, into a new way of telling a story? Here, dance is born from gestures, sport, chance encounters, and mutual dialogue with another person.
Temporary Collective is a group focused on creating performances and consists of dancer Tereza Ondrová and theater director Petra Tejnorová. In recent years, they have been exploring themes such as upcycling, loss as transformation, and geographical storytelling, while also seeking moments of subtle humor and human sincerity. They focus on the possibility of exploring different territories and different media. Temporary Collective is not based on permanence, i.e. a permanent space, a single theater, or a single permanent location—on the contrary, its identity is shaped by the diversity of connections and places where theater and dance can take place and the composition of the team that can create them. Temporary Collective is a changeable and living creative organism.
